The Brillion SS-4 Landscape Seeder is a 4-foot wide seeder that can be operated behind compact tractors or medium-duty all-terrain vehicles. It can be used to plant a large selection of grass and legume seeds including Kentucky bluegrass, fescue, orchard grass, bromegrass, alfalfa and clover, in a wide variety of seeding rates. Two seed hoppers, each with 1 3/4 -bushel capacity, allow the user to plant seeds of differing sizes simultaneously.

Designed for use either with a drawbar or on a standard Cat. I three-point hitch, the Brillion SS-4 is easy to operate and can be used in minimally tilled or conventionally tilled soils. The Brillion double-roller seedbed conditioning system ensures optimum seed-to-soil contact with consistent seed placement in the top half inch of the seedbed for faster, more consistent germination.

The SS-4 can be used with a hose kit for use with pull vehicles that have remote hydraulics or an electro-hydraulic lift kit for pull vehicles without remote hydraulics.

The 12-volt electric/hydraulic lift system allows the SS-4 to be operated behind an ATV or tractor without hydraulic outlets. The electro-hydraulic unit is tucked away near the center of the seeder and has a self-contained hydraulic reservoir and pump controlled with a remote switch that can be mounted on the tow vehicle.

The SS-4 comes fully outfitted with drawbar and transport wheels. The standard drawbar kit includes 2-inch by 6-inch double acting cylinders, drawbar, drawbar jack, wheel end brackets and 16 x 6.50-8 tires. In the parked position the entire unit can be easily maneuvered on the tires and the hitch jack dolly wheel for easy hookup or storage.
